Strengthening the capacities of women with disabilities!

BIM will carry out a 2-year Daphne project on "Access to specialised victim support services for women with disabilities who have experienced violence" with two Austrian partners and three European partners.

The aim of the project is to elaborate if women with disabilities access and make use of the range of mainstream victim support services and provisions to the same extent as women without disabilities who have experienced violence. In the framework of the project the situation in Austria, Germany, England and Iceland will be examined through qualitative and quantitative methods (situation analysis, interviews, focus group discussions, etc.), as well as a holistic participative approach.
