As part of the FP7-project FRAME, the University of Leuven, the Copenhagen Business School and the University of Sevilla jointly organised a conference on business and human rights on 20 and 21 October 2016.
Julia Planitzer participated for the BIM and presented findings of the ongoing project ‘Corporate Liability regarding Trafficking in Human Beings for the purpose of Labour Exploitation and Access to Effective Remedy‘. Her talk focussed on corporate criminal liability for trafficking in human beings for the purpose of labour exploitation. The conference offered a great chance to discuss findings with experts on business and human rights from Europe.
Further information on the conference can be found here.
