Based on the research results of the project "Open research behind closed doors: Assessing the impact of COVID-19 measures on persons with psychosocial and intellectual disabilities deprived of liberty", the video gives insights into the experiences of people with psychosocial and intellectual disabilities who are detained during the COVID-19 Pandemic and makes recommendations on how the situation of those affected can be improved.

The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights under the Junior Project Lead Hannes Tretter is advising Albania on the subject of data protection as part of a twinning project. Within the scope of the EU-funded RiVi project “Rights of Victims of Survived Bodily Harm: Improved Access to Clinical Forensic Examinations”, an international awareness-raising event took place on 26 November 2020. Since February 2019, the RiVi project aims at strengthening the rights of victims of violence according to the EU Victims’ Rights Directive and sensitising relevant stakeholders for clinical forensic examinations, especially medical professionals.
