Based on the research results of the project "Open research behind closed doors: Assessing the impact of COVID-19 measures on persons with psychosocial and intellectual disabilities deprived of liberty", the video gives insights into the experiences of people with psychosocial and intellectual disabilities who are detained during the COVID-19 Pandemic and makes recommendations on how the situation of those affected can be improved.
The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights under the Junior Project Lead Hannes Tretter is advising Albania on the subject of data protection as part of a twinning project. The aim is to align Albanian laws with the EU acquis and to strengthen the responsible institutions. In this recently published video, the project is briefly presented.
