The Ludwig Boltzmann Insitute of Fundamental and Human RIghts is looking for a National Mid-Term Expert on Communication and Awareness-Raising for the project on Rule of Law in North Macedonia.

Call for Applications: Component leader for the project EU Support for Rule of Law – North Macedonia

The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights announces an offer by the Agency for European Integration and Economic Development (AEI) for a component leader working on justice reform in the project EU Support for Rule of Law in North Macedonia. In this framework, the component leader will assist the institutions to prepare for a future accession to the EU. The position is based in Skopje, North Macedonia. Deadline for applications: 28th June 2021.

Visibility-Event of the IPA-Projcet „EU Support for Rule of Law in North Macedonia”

On May 19th the visibility event of the EU-financed IPA-project took place online. Ms Mojca Kuzmički, team leader of the project, welcomed all the participants. Afterwards, Ms Věra Jourová from the EU-delegation took over and emphasized the importance of keeping up the reform momentum in Northern Macedonia. The goals of the project are reforms of the juridical sector and the fight against corruption, organized crime and terrorism in order to work towards the key priority, the EU-accession of Northern Macedonia.

NORTH MACEDONIA: EU Support for Rule of Law in North Macedonia

This 5-year project aims at supporting North Macedonia on its way to the EU. The project is built on the revised methodology "Enhancing the accession process - A credible EU perspective for the Western Balkans", endorsed by the Commission Communication in February 2020. It covers the justice sector, law enforcement, anti-corruption and the protection of human rights.
