Taming Fiancial Markets through Human Rights?

In this lecture Karin Lukas (Senior Researcher at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Human Rights) will be presenting the link between income distribution and wealth and the current financial system from a human rights perspective. The effects of the financial crisis on human rights will be analyzed through case studies, such as Greece. She will pose the question which course of action the international human rights regime provides to reign in the social effects of globalized financial markets.
