First International Symposium of Human Rights 2017

The first International Symposium of Human Rights will take place from the 9th to 12th November and will be organized by Bewusstseinsregion. The Symposium will take a closer look at how human rights arose and what meaning they have for our society. Examples will show, where these rights are endangered and underminded.

The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights and SOS Menschenrechte Oberösterreich are cooperation partners:  Manfred Nowak will be one of the speakers at the event on the 10th of November, where he will talk about the History and Significance of Human Rights. Anna Müller-Funk will hold a workshop: "People have rights. Human Rights" on the 11th of November.
