  • International monitoring of places of detention, including vast experience in conducting interviews with victims of human rights violations
  • Management of a torture prevention project assisting governments and civil society in the implementation of the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture mission recommendations
  • Research, consulting and training in the areas of rights of persons deprived of their liberty, in particular on the prohibition and prevention of torture and ill-treatment
  • Research on anti-terrorism measures and human rights, such as secret places of detention, as well as on the UN human rights system
