1948 till 1958: The Second Republic– Reconstruction und Independency

Due to the genocides and crimes committed in the Second World War the protection of fundamental and human rights received great attention, which the United Nations (UN) immediately adopted after the end of the war. With the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (AEMR) of 1948, many UN member states agreed for the first time on a worldwide catalog of values.
