The Human Rights Film Festival this human world is in the fourth round

Austria‘s biggest human rights film festival “this human world” enters its fourth round from 30 November to 10 December 2011. As a long-standing cooperation partner, the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights (BIM) proudly presents a series of documentaries on crucial human rights issues.

On the one hand, the movies analyse recent developments that have significantly influenced the world’s political map (uprisings in the Arabic world or USA’s war with the terror). On the other hand, they raise questions that for years have been present in policies of states and international organisations, but never really solved (Roma discrimination, humanitarian imprisoning or violations of human rights in North Korea).
All film screenings are followed by a panel discussion in English with invited experts and researchers from the Institute.
