Together with the Austrian Embassy in Ankara the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights (BIM) will host a lecture and discussion event on the topic of "Gender Equality in Turkey" on 4th April, 2011.

The event will specifically target representatives of the Turkish civil society as well as social partners and will be held within the scope of the Twinning Project “Promoting Gender Equality in Working Life“, implemented by BIM jointly with the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and Ministry of Labour and Social Security.

Karin Lukas will participate as Junior Partner Project Leader and give a presentation on "Women's rights and the economy".
