Since 2007 the EU sets up more commercial agreements with third countries. Proceedings with countries that violate the main rules of labour law brought up the discussion of adding social chapters to the agreements. The book shows how to reason, assure and legitimate such social chapters. One of the speakers is Karin Lukas, Team Leader of the Team Human Rights in Development Cooperation and Business at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights.
