The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights congratulates ZARA - Zivilcourage und Anti-Rassismus-Arbeit on its 10th anniversary and a crowded birthday party which was celebrated on 16 October at the Viennese WUK.

ZARA, with its counseling and documentation work as well as the collaboration within the Litigation Association Against Discrimination is an essential co-operation partner of BIM in the area of anti-discrimination. Especially in times of politics of exclusion becoming more and more popular, the awareness raising work of an organisation like ZARA is of crucial importance. On the way towards a comprehensive legal grounding and the according implementation of measures against racism in Austria, the BIM is looking forward to further linkages between research and NGO work in this field.
