On 20 March Manfred Nowak and Irene Brickner present their new books in the bookstor "Morawa" (Wollzeile 11, 1010 Wien) at 07:30 pm.

In his book "Torture: the Banality of the Unbelieveable", the renowned expert in human rights, Manfred Nowak reports about torture and it's causes, his work and the methods to investigate torture. He talks about his concrete experiences in many countries and about the simple possibility to repeal torture if the political will is given to do so.

Irene Brickner, a journalist how is known and rewarded for her critical reporting, illuminates in her book: "black book - human rights: whereof Austria is silent" the real situation in Austria which she knows due to her efficient research.
