Data protection experts from Montenegro in Vienna for Twinning Study Visit

Data protection experts from Montenegro, Austria, Germany.From 6th to 8th July 2011 the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Human Rights received a delegation of ten Montenegrin data protection experts in Vienna in cooperation with the Austrian Data Protection Commission (DSK).
On this occasion the guests were informed about the extensive activities of the DSK, discussing vividly with high-level data protection experts on current issues and talking about the general topic data protection and human rights.

As part of the ongoing Twinning project "Implementation of Personal Data Protection Strategy," the newly formed Montenegrin data protection authority is supported by an Austrian-Slovenian consortium for institution building through training and legislation analysis and in anchoring the importance of privacy in the public consciousness.
